Membership & Verification
How do I become a member?
To protect our ecosystem, every member is vetted before joining. You'll submit your company details, undergo basic eligibility checks, and be reviewed by a compliance lead in your country. This includes verification of business registration, account and insurance status, and disclosure compliance. Once approved, you'll receive an email to choose your membership tier. All data is handled under GDPR and cyber safety protocols.
What are the membership tiers?
We offer four membership tiers: Builder (for diaspora professionals and SMEs), Investor (for foreign investors and expats), Partner (for fintechs, banks, brands, and enablers), and Supporter (for friends of the diaspora and community members). Each tier provides different access levels to our platform and services.
What do members get access to?
Members get verified access to live trade opportunities across property, exports, services, and sponsorship. You can list your own deals, use deal tracking tools with escrow and FX support, and get priority access to diaspora banking, partner activations, and investment spotlights.

Security & Safety FAQ
Given recent events, how are you addressing safety and security concerns for attendees?
We proactively address all safety concerns by maintaining direct partnerships with state security agencies, conducting pre-event risk assessments, and ensuring all event venues and hotels are fully vetted. Our safety plan covers access control, medical support, and real-time coordination with law enforcement to reassure all participants of their safety.
Can you tell us about the security measures in place to help participants feel safe at the event?
Security personnel are deployed throughout the venue; entry and exit points are monitored using screening protocols; CCTV and surveillance systems are in place; and emergency response teams (including medical staff) are on standby. Police presence and uniformed security ensure visible deterrence and immediate response capacity.
What are the transportation options between the event venue and the hotels?
We provide secure shuttle transfers between the airport, official event hotels, and the main venue. For guests staying elsewhere, we offer discounted rates with our verified transport partners. On request, security-escorted vehicles are available for evening or VIP movements.
Could you give us more details about your security measures and transportation?
Our event hotel and venue have internal and external security coverage supported by the Lagos State Police Command. Each partner hotel has been inspected and approved for safety standards. All vehicles used are GPS-tracked and operated by licensed drivers familiar with local routes.
Are there any specific safety or security concerns we should be aware of?
At this time, we have no unresolved safety concerns. However, we maintain an open line of communication with all participants to promptly address any emerging needs or additional reassurance requests before and during the event.
